The Modular Tru-Balance was developed to provide a simple and economical machine with reliable performance and excellent sanitation features when conditions do not dictate stainless steel construction or require complex separations. The box-free design, with nested sieves and lift-out screen frames, allows the entire sifter to be dismantled in minutes for inspection or effortless screen changes. The wooden frames are bonded with plastic laminate on all exposed surfaces. The sifter uses from 4 to 9 sieves in two different frame sizes to provide from 15 to 100 ft² of screening area. Up to three separations can be obtained.

The box-free design with nest together sieves and lift-out screen frames allow the entire sifter to be dismantled in minutes for inspection or effortless screen changes.
Numerous construction options allow the sifter to be adapted to a wide range of products and installation requirements. The sieve construction options include UHMW compartment liners, stainless steel pans, galvanized or stainless steel intercrimp backwire, and stapled-on or glued-on screens.
- Unique double cable clamping system raises the bottom carrier, securely locking the nested sieve stack against the top carrier. No heavy covers to remove or replace when opening the sifter for inspection or maintenance.
- Screen trays simply lift out from outer individual sieve frames for quick changes or repair. Screens are either hand stretched and stapled-on, or for improved sanitation and performance, can be mechanically stretched and glued directly to the tray.
- Operates at 250 rpm with a 2-5/8” diameter circle of gyration using a 1½ HP motor.
- Ball or cube cleaners below the screens prevent blinding or plugging.

Extra Heavy-duty sieve frames can be fabricated from clear poplar lumber or Food Grade Plastic. Sieve construction options also include UHMW compartment liners and stainless-steel pans. Ball or cube cleaners below the screens prevent blinding or plugging.
- Wooden Sieve Frames
These sieves can be constructed and lined with plastic laminate bonded to all product contact surfaces, as well as exteriors. The screen trays simply lift out of the outer sieve frames for quick changes or repairs. Screens are typically hand stretched and stapled-on.
- Food Grade Plastic Frames
These sieves use aluminum inserts with welded in perforated backwire. Screens for our food grade plastic sieves are mechanically stretched and glued directly to the tray for improved sanitation and performance.
- Nova Sieves
The unique design of the Nova Sieve eliminates the sieve backwire. They are constructed from select poplar lumbar with stainless steel pans. Screens are mechanically stretched and glued to the aluminum screen tray.
