Demountable and Slip-In Sieve

Demountable tray sieves are available in natural wood or laminated wood, with a natural wood tray, and stapled-on screens. The demountable tray insert is secured to the sieve frame with a few fasteners. The demountable tray has many similarities to the fixed tray sieve but is adapted to provide more ease in maintenance.

  • Self-contained – Presents no risk of leaks around a removeable insert, and thus a lower risk of contamination due to wear.
  • Lining and facing options provide reinforcement and increased durability as needed.
  • Tray fasteners enable easier, more efficient screen removal process for maintenance and replacements, and prevents the necessity for full sieve replacement in the event of tray or attachment area damage.
  • Easy screen replacements for increased sieve frame longevity.

The slip-in tray is supported by a sturdy stainless-steel angle to ensure a positive seal as the tray rests within the sieve. Slip-in tray sieves are available in natural wood or laminated wood, with a natural wood tray, with options for stapled-on or glued-on screens.

  • Gasket sealing between tray insert and sieve frame provides improved seal.
  • Preferred tray to provide a stapled-on screen with a removable wooden insert.
