EB Series Agitator/Blender

Features

The “Easy Blend” Agitator/Blender features a housing constructed of rot and corrosion-resistant polyvinylchloride (PVC), supported on a sanitary base frame. The rotors are machined and balanced for vibration free operation. They are constructed with sanitary carbon steel and powder-coated with food grade finish. The gas dispersion manifold enhances gas distribution, reducing concentrated injection points, to extend rotor life. Great Western’s improved design includes the R3 feature and options for our Smart Flow Technology.

Both single-pass and double-pass arrangements feature a tall primary mixing chamber, while the double-pass arrangement features a secondary, lower housing chamber for improved product exposure and blending. All housing is tightly sealed with Viton™ rubber around access panels.

Operations

R3 – Rapid Rotor Replacement – A rotor support bracket allows the rotor with seals and bearings to slide into place easily with removable supports.

For inspection, maintenance, and cleaning within the product zone, there is a minimal disassembly required. With the removal some outer guarding the housing design allows the rotor to be removed, complete with seals and bearings as a complete unit. R3 technology provides ease of access and controlled rotor handling.

Smart Flow Technology option provides an inlet sensor, shaft speed sensor, discharge sensor, and total PLC integration.
